So then, is Ando's current power the same one shown early on with him offing Future Hiro? Cause they were lasers, no this unique ability. Which I've gotta say, I'm kinda glad they finally brought in a power that is not widely utilized in the mainstream comic book universe. Personally, I haven't seen anyone else with this ability, so congrats to Kring and team.

Waiting for them to remember the theory of relativity was both painful and embarassing.

    Cool

    HOLY MACARONI!

What an amazing volume. I'm glad a lot of characters were killed and the volumes shortened. Really thought the puppeteer might have some chance and would have loved him to stay on. Also, who was the black male inmate? I don't know what particular role he played during this volume.

Was elated and surprised to hear some theory on how to utilize a brand new power.

The volume wasn't really shortened, just continued.

Also, I'm excited about the fact that we only need to wait a month and a half between the two seasons/volumes.

No, what I'm saying is that Volume 3 started before the writer's strike, didn't it?

No. I don't think so. The writers strike happened and they had to rework volume 2. 3 didnt start till it was over.

Overall, I am so, so, so disappointed by that whole volume. I'll keep watching though.

Also, I get how Daphne went back in time, but how did running fast enable her to come back?

Because she took Ando with her.

Yea, the whole running back in time, then back to the future was a bit far fetched to me. However I won't dwell on it too much. I still think the volume picked up towards the end, the last 4 or 5 episodes were good.

I am very interested to see where Fugitives will go. I don't like that it has gotten political. There will be no going back now. We will just have to wait and see what happens. Who thinks Sylar is really dead? I bet debris knocked the knife out, allowing him to come back. I also really want to know what happened to the Haitian.

Aside from plot points getting more exciting, they've played a big "fuck you" on all the people who were interested in the characters. Nathan's gone from a well-intentioned but confused man to a complete assfuck. Mohinder's a monster one week and a victim the next. And don't even get me started on Sylar.

Fuck Heroes, and fuck the idiots who decided to take an interesting, potentially really great character drama about superheroes and turn it into the most brainless, emotionally unsatisfying montage of special effects, explosions and character corruptions. Watching Heroes used to be like eating a really good deli sandwich -- now it's like eating McDondalds burgers that you've found in the alley because some cleaner missed the bin when he was taking out the trash.

Yeah, man. Normally I wouldn't expect, or even necessarily want, Heroes to adhere to that sort of thing. But if they're going to play the science game alongside the magical crazy people game, they should try to do it right.

Maybe by going back through time they formed a path through the space-time continuum that allowed them to get back to the present.

I will say, the way Nathan has transformed, and how fast it happened was not well done. Setting the man onto the gang is a really big jump. I didn't like how he just flipped.

As for Sylar, I think they redeemed themselves at the end. Sylar going bad again was pretty awesome I felt. However the good Sylar, it was as if they wanted to see what it would be like, but didn't put any thought into it, then decided fuck it, lets turn him back before he gets worse. Tha could have been an interesting spin on the Sylar character if done properly, but it wasn't. I was glad to see him back to bad.

The Theory of Relativity they are referring to is the theory of special relativity. They are using Time Dilation to give reasons for his ability to travel back in time, but in reality it means that, given two clocks: one traveling at the speed of light and the other not the two clocks will be out of sync to an outward observer.

I'm glad someone else recognized that what they are saying is wrong. The theory of special relativity says that the faster an object moves the slower time goes for that object relative to something not moving as fast. That was a poor way of wording it but I think it gets the point across. Nowhere in the theory of relativity or special relativity does it say that if you go faster than the speed of light you go backwards. Shit if we could get near a black hole we could send people into the future. Have them chill above the event horizon for a couple months. It is impossible to travel faster than the speed of light and there are good reasons for it. The main one is that as you travel faster you actually gain mass. Until you approach good percentages of light speed the difference is absolutely negligible but as you do you gain mass. As you approach 100% of light speed(570 million miles an hour) as you pass 99% you start to realize how much mass you gain and by the time you get to like 99.5% you will probably not be able to continue moving. Even if you were able to have some cock diesel back up engine to give you an extra boost to compensate for the weight added, it would just fail quickly because the amount of mass you gain once you get reaaaaally close to light speed is unfathomable.

Don't get too down guys. Brian Fuller said that the first three episodes of Fugitives were awesome, and then on the fourth the man himself is finally back at the pen. He said that Heroes got to muddled and that he wants it to go back to being about the characters. I am pumped, even though they are finally doing the thing that they couldn't avoid forever: ripping off Xmen

Yeah. Tim Kring personally fired the producers that fucked it up.

Well, at least Heroes isn't a sad show loosely based off of Lord of the Flies.

Well, you can't deny that LOST is essentially a modern version of LotF.

Having read LotF twice I can contend it does not involve the following: time travel, a black smoke monster, "others", a hatch, anything about a certain secretive foundation which is using the island to conduct experiments, or a beautiful scientist.

There are certainly elements which have been used to give a nod to LotF.

There are certainly elements which have been used to give a nod to LotF.
I think a more accurate comparison would be Robinson Crusoe.

I would say, really, Lost in Space more than Robison Crusoe.

I'm sorry, but I just laughed out loud in my office and everyone asked me what was so funny. And when I said, "Someone said Heroes was greater than LOST," everyone else burst out laughing, too. Then God opened the roof and was all, "What's going on, guys?" and my boss explained the situation, and God started laughing, which sadly caused a tsunami.

I still have hope for Heroes. S1 was awesome. S2 was poor, at its best it was average. S3 started like 2, although episode 3 was awesome, but it picked up towards the end and started going in the right direction.

I tried to watch Lost, but it didn't hold my interest.

Also, I am loving Dexter season 2 so far.
