djwolford are you a fucking idiot?
1. It's NOLA, not "NOLO" you fuckwit. What the hell does NOLO even stand for? New Orleans, LA. 2. If you bet New Orleans -4.5 you got ripped off. The spread was NOLA +6 for most of the week, +5 for most of today, and +4.5 at game time. 3. The over ended up at 56.5 so if you were dumb enough to bet that many points in a Superbowl, you could've at least gotten an extra point by looking at the betting volume for the week that was so heavily skewed toward the under. For the record, I won a NO +5, under 56.5 parlay. I won NO straight up. I won prop bets on Saints winning the coin toss, Colts leading at half time, and Saints outscoring the Colts in the second half. I lost a prop bet on The Who smashing instruments on stage. |

If you went by a grid with 2 numbers (like Saints 4 and Colts 6) that's called squares. If the Saints ended a quarter with 24 points and the Colts had 6 points you would win that quarter. I spent $15 getting in on squares, and another $20 ($5 per quarter) on strip cards. Ended up just winning $50 the first quarter from strip. I had 0 the second quarter again and 5 the 4th quarter and came pretty damn close with both of those but cocksuckers choked both times...like when whats his name tripped outside of the end zone right before halftime. |

it was a grid with numbers 0-9 and it went by the last number of the score
so the score at the end of the first quarter was 10-0 so i won because my name was in the 0,0 boxes (x, y quadrant something like that)

also, gina, when people refer to an "office pool," that's usually what they mean, though the format sort of changes based on the sport (ie football squares have scores, NASCAR squares have drivers, golf squares have golfers, NCAA tournament pools may have teams or more likely don't have squares at all), as well as some of the other rules (random assignment vs. first come, first serve.)

Oh, and 3/4 of that 3/4 happen to reside in Indiana. So they are Vol fans because Peyton came to their precious Colts.
