    Default Upcoming concerts?

I was wondering if anyone else has upcoming concerts they are looking forward to?

Louisville sucks for music (there's a shock), so I'm going to have to leave state to find anything worth going to. I'm heading to St. Louis in March to see Nobuo Uematsu perform Distant Worlds over two nights, and I'm really looking forward to that. Anyone else seeing someone cool in the coming months?

Really? My brother lives in Nashville and he seems like he's always going to different concerts. I was under the impression that Nashville had a great music scene, country and otherwise.

I mean if you wanna talk about a horrible music scene, try living anywhere in fuckin Arkansas. If I want to see any live music (with the exception of awful cover bands) I have to travel at least 2 hours.

The Lemonheads has been a big guilty pleasure of mine for a while, so I'll be catching them when they come near here in February.

Gonna see Corrosion of Conformity play when they swing by here in March.

Ok I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and found this cool site (http://www.songkick.com/) that shows most upcoming concerts in your area and I found out that The Crystal Method is playing near here on the 27th. I wanna go to that but I don't think any of my friends will want to go. I guess I'll go by myself if I have to.

Oh yeah that Crystal Method show was awesome. I danced for over 2 hours straight. I wished I lived in a city that had a decent electronic music scene.

Nashville's Electronica scene really isn't that bad... we have a day glow concert and a bunch of other shit, but that's getting closer to summer.

If I want to see a big (popular) band it usually means leaving Wales which is at least 2 hours. Doesn't really bother me as that is the case for most of the gigs I play and most of the other cool stuff I do.

I'm off to see Submotion Orchestra (check them out KT I think you'll like them) in March. Also I'm already getting excited about some small festivals which are coming up. I'm playing one in may in which I'm supporting a band which I think are pretty excellent.

    Lazy Habits:
You Americans might find the London accent rap a bit disagreeable, I struggled with it at first, but I really like their composition and most of their lyrics. Here's a taster, I also think its a pretty decent video for a band that aren't so big:

and if you liked that a couple of their tracks are on Spotify and their website is:

Henry Rollins is doing his spoken word stuff near here in March, so I'll go to that if I can afford to miss class the next day.

The next month is the Melvins/Unsane show in New Orleans. No way in hell I'm missing that.
