Thread: Mars Volta - The Bedlam In Goliath ...Thoughts?

I think it's amazing. At least the first 5 songs I can't get enough of. Definitely more like De-loused than their other recent albums.

Anyone else listen to this album at all?

Anything would have been better than Francis the Mute, to be honest. I LOVE De-Loused and really, really enjoy Amputecture, but I'll need to give Bedlam another listen before I pass judgment.

Francis the Mute is one of the worst albums I have ever heard. It's an abortion of music.

Haha, yeah, I haven't listened to it enough to make any severe judgements. But what I listened to it...complete shit compared to De-Loused.

Yeah, give bedlam another listen. I really dig it. At least the first like 6 tracks or so.

My brother has flown out to LA to see them live, and I was insanely jealous. He was there for their New Years show
