Okay the whole "concept band" idea is I guess new and innovative and some of the music and story isn't horrible and whatnot but lets go ahead and recognize right now that without pioneers like The Beatles and Pink Floyd, the concept album is a meaningless term, much less the "concept band."

Well since coheed acknowledges these bands as their influences they never did claim to invent it.

And I wasn't comparing Pink Floyd and Coheed, I was saying that Coheed's rhythm guitarists isn't cornered to JUST rhythm guitar.
