I don't have the exact file names handy but I know I have a 6+ hour DJ mix from a liveset in an Israel club on my other computer, and numerous sound effects that are 1 second or less. I've got probably 20 DJ sets that are 2+ hours long.

Dialogues and most intros really don't count as songs. If they were counted, my shortest track would be "Yeah" by Kyuss (the vocalist just says "yeah") at 0:05 and my longest would be the first half of Henry Rollins "Get in the Van" (spoken word album) at 77:43.

I'm guessing all of the songs on the album you downloaded were an extra 2 seconds longer than the copy I downloaded
A lot of cd writers have an insert pause function that adds 2 seconds between tracks. It's probably that.
