Default Music to do homework to

Lately I've been listening to Explosions in the Sky whenever I do homework. I like it because it's relaxing and it's instrumental. I also like listening to Scala & Kolacny Brothers. Somehow this Belgium girls choir is also soothing. I haven't really found much else lately that I can listen to while doing homework. (Man, I used to be able to listen to anything, but now I'm much more distractable)

What music do you guys enjoy listening to while doing school work (or I guess business work)? Does anyone have any recommendations on other music I could listen to?

Well, I personally listen to classical music when I do work but it doesn't seem anyone is a fan. Just in case I would suggest Mozart, Beethoven, or anyone else from the classical era.

Otherwise I definitely agree with mutton on Mogwai. I would also check out Pelican. Both good instrumental groups that are somewhat "relaxing."

Oh yeah, Autumn Leaf. Listen to the song "red eye." I was addicted to that for a while.

I don't have homework but I listen to Zero 7 or classical if I'm getting shit done and need something chilled.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I haven't had any homework lately but when I do I'll let you know what I liked.

If I have to listen to music while studying I'm usually most productive when it's The Beatles

Well I'm doing homework at home for the first time in weeks. I decided to try listening to Mogwai since for some reason I already had an album of theirs, Zidane-A 21st Century Portrait. I like it. So far I've had no problems getting distracted by the music.

Update: Do Make Say Think is pretty easy to do homework to. It's all instrumental. I think it's post-rock (i dunno, don't really care about genres)

It's pleasant and the two albums I've listened to flowed really well.

I found the Zidane movie quite interesting (even though I don't like football...sorry, soccer...) but I've never listened to it as an album. Mogwai Young Team is a consistant favourite of mine though, and their new album Hardcore Will Never Die But You Will is pretty good.

There's a tonne of bands like Do Make Say Think on Constellation Records like Set Fire To Flames and shit like that that I don't listen to anymore but still kind of like.

I don't remember making this post but it must have taken me ages to type out because I was very very drunk.
