    Default Post your paintings

I love painting I always have, My favorite paint is oil paint. It blends so smoothly and Georgian oil paints have the best smell.

Here are some of my paintings, I would like to see what you guys like to paint, and what you think about my paintings.

If you have drawings or other media post it here too, I want to see it all!

    I wish I could paint...

They're all very good. I really like the middle one, even though it's less detailed than the others, it has a great 'pop art' feel.

    These are great!
I quite enjoy painting when I find the time, but have never managed to produce anything I have been happy with. Also prefer oils to watercolour or acrylic. I will have to check if I actually have any paintings about the place, will upload them if I do.

The middle one was painted with acrylics and the other two were oils. they dragon painting is the newest painting in there, though it is over a year old, the others I did when I was in high school.

    Loved the dragon painting.

I wish I could draw, anything, worth a damn. I've never attempted painting but I figure if kindergarteners are beating me at drawing a stick man, I have no place with that medium.

Those are lovely! I also like the middle one... something I would probably buy if I saw it whilst out and about.

I cannot draw worth a damn. I can occasionally do an alright super hero but not really.

Super heros are fun to draw, my sketch books are filled with characters, usually women because I have a difficult time drawing men unless I have a picure to look at. I think it would be pretty awesome to be an illustrator for graphic novels. I can see myself getting really frustrated when I couldn't get a drawing just how I wanted it to look though... I already do.

I really like the dragon painting. It reminds me of deep water fish.

I mean I'm not great at it, but it's something fun that I do. they could use a lot of work. I like to draw the outline in my sketchbook and then color it and fix what ever needs fixing in photoshop. I'm still learning every time I draw something new.

    Oh. That's cool.

Is the second painting you post original or is it a copy too?

These first set of paints are awesome! I think the artist you mentioned for the first paint is also married to a painter, and they charge a lot of money for prints. I really like the middle one. It reminds me of cool urban art I'd see on the side of a building.

I think these are pretty good too, but I like your paintings more.

Are you going to post more paintings?

The latest comic I put up is done in watercolour. I don't often use colour of any sort and many of my past forays into the world of paining have ended in garish disaster. This at least turned out a little better than I feared it might. High time I did some more realistic work again though.
