Cool Web Videos - Contrary to popular belief there is more to watch online than porn.

I had no idea how much Youtube offers in the way other than video memes and silly web videos. I setup my youtube account and channel about an hour ago, and well there is so much that I don't think I'd have all the time in the world to find. Besides bands and entertainers, I'm really into the educational, inspirational, motivational, informational, and anything enlightening. I setup an account to subscribe and follow the Royal Society for Arts and Sciences (http://www.youtube.com/user/theRSAorg). What else is out?

I'm fond of tutorials. I don't have high speed net at the house but I watch them at hotels on wifi.

Art, knots etc. I usually buy books on these type subjects too.

The fzd school has some pretty cool videos on concept art. There are many others. The shocito which made Gimp Paint Studio shows some nice stuff.

I watch game reviews, mainly zero punctuation and occasionally an IGN video review.
I also really like day[9]s videos. He recently did some diablo 3 beta vids and an amnesia playthrough for halloween which was funny.

Those are the only videos I watch semi regularly I think.
Oh also the occasional sc tournament when they come around.

Oh how could I forget, any decent TED videos that I come across I usually watch because, well, they're awesome.

If your into the enlightening thing, there's a really good Carl Sagan series going. I'll see if I can dig it up, it should be bookmarked on my comp.

Well yea, it's edited clips of speeches/excerpts from Cosmos/excerpts from audio books cut with cool relevant background video and images. Ongoing in the sense that I don't think it's a dead project yet, and I think there's still a few more to be released.

Turns out it's not ongoing. It's the Feynman series that's still a work in progress. Still, there are eight of them and they're pretty sweet. Here's the first:

Very interesting even though I don't do a lot of drawing. I watched several videos thought it to be nifty. I do want to get a Wacom tablet but that's not priority just for helping me create visuals and other things for notes.

I'm guessing you have a career or big interest in digital art and design.

I watched the interviews and the asian women are hot.

WTF. No idea what I was about to watch. I wanted to post that smiley where I lose my monocle but it isn't on here.

I read through one of his books not really understanding what he was talking about. I know he's revered in the science community as some theoretical physicist who smokes pots and dreams about black holes. I subscribed to this, but I don't want to subscribe to the whole channel just add the playlists on to my channel. Not sure how to do that yet because I haven't messed around too much with youtube.
