If you actually want to make T-Shirts, buy your own blank ones and then create your designs right on them and sell them yourself. If they're good, people will want them. If they're not, little is lost. Don't deal with middlemen until you're established.
As for comic books...ever heard of web comics. You're really just going to create and print your own comic?
draw them, photograph them, upload the photos and get readers to print and bind them themselves
