And me, a few weeks ago on St Patty's Day.
taken just tonight baby i fuckin' rocked that shit
aw dude that's so artsy
I didn't feel like spelling out St. Patrick's day. Go internet laziness.
generally i am pretty sardonic about my picture commentary
but that was an honest assessment, i did a fucking fantastic job for a first-time performance
also, yes, if fear-based adrenaline counts
hahahaha great success
I wasn't nervous leading up to the set, and I wasn't nervous while I was being introduced, but as soon as I sat on stage and looked up and realized there were a bunch of people staring at me and every little thing I did, it struck me. I played worse than normal, but only really because my palm was sweaty and kept sticking to the back of my guitar neck, but apparently I looked like a pro on stage and sounded great.
Matt LeBlanc and Tony Cox, the two main acts, complimented me, which was pretty inspirational and touching
Isn't Matt LeBlanc the dude from friends?
I take it it was a different guy.
Yeah I know the one
Usually when I play it is trumpet so I don't have the luxury of sitting down. No matter how easy it is to swagger confidently on stage as soon as I have to stand still in one place the leg begins to shake haha.
I must say you do look fairly suave. You should record your next gig and poast it.
This gig is recorded, but I won't have the video for a few days yet. I do look pretty confident through it, though.
also you're right, i meant Ryan Leblanc who plays crazy shit like this:
Spoiler
i wish
this tony cox is a south african finger picking guitarist who is INSANELY good.
baby elephant walk motherfucker
well then I'll be the first one you've seen spell it that way
A guy I work out with at the gym has a south african accent and I could listen to him talk all damn day.
And the good thing is he likes to talk a lot and has a lot o' stories to tell.
And when he leaves the gym, he says "Cheers, Gina!"
I tingle a bit.
I bellow with mirth.
