this reminds me. i guess a year or so after the economic crisis hit, or even less, my university had to let go the glassblower who made special labware for chemistry research.
at my housemate's store that specializes in glassware accouterments for community garden produce, they've apparently recently hired a glassblower of their own.
i'm glad, at least, that someone's hiring them...

Downtown Naptown has become Superbowl Village
Some panoramic shots of the crowd in the city. This has been going on the for the last four or five days. It is really cool to see something exciting going on in Naptown.
I wish I knew how to take better photos of things in motion. Here's some drunk people dancing with a little girl.
Here's my friend Tom. He dragged me out to help him with his photoshoot of the fireworks. He got paid $100 plus $30 parking for 2 minutes of taking photos. We proceeded to get drunk after this.

I'm probably going to go again tonight. There are a lot of free shows and the open carry law makes downtown Naptown fun. I think LMFAO played last night or is playing tonight and I'd really like to see them.
