I'd have to say my dad's homemade chili. I don't know his exact recipe, though I do know he varies it each time he makes it. I know that regular, Texas chili doesn't contain much more than just chili peppers and such, but the way my dad makes it, you could throw anything in there and it would still taste great. Beans, jism, tomatoes, and plenty of spics and herbs, and it burns on the way down, but it's so damn satisfying on top of a pile of rice. Words really cannot describe the level of comfort this stuff gives me.
