My father is Vietnamese. He practically refused to teach me Vietnamese when I was a child because he wanted me to be super American or something. The relatives I visit the most are from my father's side and quite a few can't speak any English.
I see now, from what I hear it sounds pretty fuckin hard so good luck with that.
