Latin I am not fluent in, but I have noticed that the three years I took of it back in high school have helped immensely in understanding the other languages. Mainly in the etymology of the words I see, but not the exact translations. AKA why I can't translate worth a shit.

I took two years of Latin and it was a godsend when I took the ACT and SAT.

I'll kill myself though if I have to translate another Latin passage into English.
