Thread: You guys remember Wigglez? Well, his wife has cancer.

Here's a bit of an update.

My wife will have Mastectomy Surgery on April 15th. I had to remove the blogs from that site because her 'Christian' boss said the blog was associated with her and she is associated with his business so we had to take it down because of my religious rants and views or else he would fire her and not allow her to come back to work after her recovery from surgery. So I swallowed my pride and took it down even though it proves my point exaclty with what I was bitching about in the blogs to begin with.

So the countdown is on now. None of us are sure how to deal with this yet. One of those have to ride out this storm and go from there situations.

A HA!!! I thought this as well. Until I contacted an employment attorney. Unless my wife or myself obtain PROOF she was threated to be fired because of religious reasons, there is nothing we can do. He told her verbally and she wasnt wearing a wire unfortunately. Texas State law says you can be fired at anytime for any reason unless it violates your civil rights, which of course this does but we have no proof. But I am determined to get it.

This is the same sort of intelligent thinking that creates "right to work" legislation.

If you have a legal issue, ask an attorney, that is their job. Don't let the boss tread on your rights. The attorney can best advise you how to keep the site up and get admissible proof about his threats. Even threatening to do that, if proven, is against the law I am pretty sure.

I agree. But I got a lot of shit on my plate and stressed out enough as is, so for now I am just swallowing my pride and giving in. Feels like the easiest option at this point.

Figured I'd bump this thread as opposed to making a new one.

A lot has gone down since the original post, but tomorrow is the day Amanda has her Mastectomy surgery.

Since this post Amandas job has been threatened for having cancer as well as for being an atheist on top of the fact she is sick, she has to deal with all that other bullshit. I had to edit my blog on the website I made or else she would have been fired. In talks with an employment attorney over it but we have so much other stuff going on that for the time being I swallowed my pride and deleted the shit her boss didnt like.

Last week amanda had a complete nervous breakdown and I had to have her committed, then I had to get her out because the place was a shit hole. You can read about that here if you like:

Its been a long day. Basically the surgery went ok. They took more lymph nodes than expected cause there was more cancer than they thought. Ill write up full details later. I had to come home and get the kid to bed and take him to school in the morning. Noone else was able to do it so her mammy is staying with her. Apparently she didnt handle coming out of surgery well and freaked out and she is in and out of conscience on pain meds and stuff.

Wow I wish they wheeled me, instead I got a fucking cathader in me. fuck that.

Still not sitting tight enough to write about everything. But we are at home now. The surgery went well, they found more cancer than they thought they would and then there were a lot of issues with pain so she had to stay a lot longer than expected. I got her home and in bed set up with the PS3 and what not. Taking good care of her since she cant move around a lot at all.

When her meds kick in she is strong but nearing the time for her next doe she gets weak and hurts really bad. I saw what they did in surgery and the wound area looks good. She has drains in for the next two weeks. Thats kind of weird.

She is very concerned about letting everyone know she appreciates the help all you guys gave her. More concerned about everyone else other than herself and is having a lot of difficulty letting me take care of her. Shes used to doing everything on her own and never had anyone do things for her but thats what I am here for.

She will have tohave radiation because of the amount of lymph nodes that were positive and then do chemo. She will have reconstruction after radiation, before chemo.

She is eating well. They said she probably wouldnt be able to eat after being under for so long. Surgery took about two hours but she has been munching non stop. Every pic I took of her at the hospital is her shoveling food in her mouth.

The hospital we were at was really nice. Best I have ever been to. Very helpful and nice about everything.

Also, I'm glad to see that she's doing reasonably well. All things considered, she looks pretty good in those pictures. I hope that her health continues to improve.

It really doesn't matter how old you are when youre a dick on the internet for the sake of being a dick.

I'll most likely continue to be a douchebag to people too when it comes to people I don't really know or have any personal connection to.

My wife and myslef are the ones dealing with this. And the point/reason behind this thread and my website were to help out financially and it worked. I factored in that there would be a fair share of flaming when I took it to the internet but that doesnt mean I lose anything. I gained $700 in the last month. The flaming you do doesnt take away from that.

I'm not going to get all OMG DONT SAY THOSE THINGS ITS MEAN. Just going to say you are wasting your time and I hope one day someone you care about or you yourself get cancer or some other illness or disorder and have to deal with it.

I could care less if you didn't care enough to do something to take care of your mother. I did something. I did all I could, sacrificed what I could and it still wasn't enough. So I took it elsewhere and accomplished my goal.
