for once, i was actually glad to see a cop

So, there I was yesterday, minding my own business at the convienience store down the street, gettin a snack and a drink. The store clerk asked if I had seen the really weird guy outside, no I hadnt. When I left, the guy came up to me, asking for money. I gave him 50 cents, being the nice guy I am. He then proceeded to tell me this sad story how he lost his driver's license and really needed money for an "RO22 form" or something like that. I had no idea what that was, so I just said "ok dude I gotta go".

He then put his arm around me, I elbowed him hard in the stomach. "Dont touch me like that motherfucker I dont know you" I told him. The guy continued to harass other customers for money, while chugging a 40 oz Steel Reserve. He kept walking around the parking lot, and was still there after an hour when I drove by again.

I saw him approach two women in a car and grab one of them by the arm, they quickly drove off. I decided this guy needed a good ass kicking, a trip to jail, or both. I really didnt feel like fighting him so I stayed in my car, and the guy started pounding on my window. I called the police, and the man started walking down the street, still drinking.

The dispatcher told me to follow him but not to get out of the car until a cop arrived. He walked across the highway bridge, and I called the police again, the guy was in the parking lot of another convienience store. Here is the part that made me laugh my ass off.

This dumbass went up to a HUGE black dude, and shoved him for no reason. The black guy told him he needed to "get the fuck out of here motherfucker before I kill you". He didnt listen. He shoved the guy again, just as a cop showed up. I pointed the guy out, and the cop went over to him. The cop told him to sit on the curb for a minute, and the man threw his empty beer bottle at the cop. He called for backup, and another cop got there in about 5 seconds. He was arrested right then, and still tried to argue and scream at the cops. I was sitting in my car laughing at the guy the whole time. The cop came over and took my info, and thanked me for getting this dumbass off the street. I wondered how the guy even ended up drunk at a convienience store, he wasnt homeless. He was booked for public intoxication.

Certainly the most exciting day Ive had in a while.

There was nothing my friends and I could do because A. there were only three of us and B. nobody takes risks as willingly as they like to pretend they do on the internet, so when the police showed up we were kinda glad about it. I have no idea what the kid had done, but I sincerely doubt he deserved the beating he was recieving.

I was once approached by a raging drunk. He laughed and laughed and then took a swing at me, which I was not expecting. So I shoved him into the wall behind him, and he hit his head and then didn't remember me swinging at me and asked why I looked so pissed off. It just kind of made me laugh, and then cry, because I hadn't seen my father in 3 years and this is not how I wanted to remember him.
