i wanted to redefine my entry as 'pop-culture' but i realized there are aspects of north american culture that repulse me that aren't connected to pop culture, although the latter certainly gets a concentrated dose of my spite.

Red Wine
Charlie Chaplin movies that aren't The Great Dictator
UFC, pretty much everyone I know likes it but I'm just not interested.
i like desserts but i'm picky about them and also i like the main parts of a meal more so i'm generally full by dessert time
OOOOHHHHHH
FUCKING CHRISTMAS MUSIC
and yeah, I don't particularly like any kind of dessert, but I do love me some pie. Everything else can get thrown out for all I care.
I also don't really like any kind of chocolate except for Lindt Dark chocolate. Milk and white chocolate are gross.
No one likes Christmas music.
Not even Jesus.
whaaat come on
desserts are fucking awesome, though i have an insatiable sweet tooth
now that i think about it there are far fewer foods that i dislike than most people, since i've been fed all different kinds of food by my parents since i was a little kid and well fuck i'm half italian, and frankly my indian relatives "live to eat" too.
the fuds i don't particularly like are brussel sprouts, vagina emisisons, raw carrots (though cooked carrots are greaaat), and not too much more than that.
so do i
that is a large enough number to indicate medical insanity
(edit: or cause it)
Just so we're clear here. You said "desert" not "dessert"

Dude fuck deserts
Television.
Watermelon.
Carbonated beverages.
Sunlight.
Milk.
sports
honestly why all the furor?
yes yes a million times yes
it's not that i hate sports, it's that i simply do not understand it
what's there not to understand about sport
it's basically an exercise in letting off steam in a physical and skillful way
then what's the obsession with watching and following and caring about it
i get wanting to play it
i get appreciating the skill of it
i don't get caring about it
i dunno... tribalism, competition by proxy, genuine appreciation of the skill levels, some sense of national or local pride, and some sports offer genuine depth
plus it compensates my inadequate masculinity due to my unusually small penis/ego
YO HO YO HO
ceci n'est pas une signature
Wouldn't it be the same as caring for anything else?
Like music, art, poetry, cooking, acting...
none of them are as ubiquitous or as passionately followed
there's just nothing with a following like sport has
probably
but as a male it's expected of me to love sports
i don't. i enjoy competition and i enjoy recreationally playing some sports, but i've never followed any and i don't understand why so many people obsess about it.
dark chocolate
the girl i'm having sex with
Brown bread.
Cameron Diaz (she wasn't bad in the Mask though).
Meringue.
'Lad culture'.
Peanuts.
Apparently it's an acquired taste
I'm not going to keep eating dark chocolate until I like it.
Dark chocolate has much more flavour than milk/white chocolate does.
