Meh. Im not too worried about it. My dad is the assistant DA, so I know the Judge personally. Plus my dad said the way some of the judges call people, they may have not even called my name. Im going to call tomorrow and explain it to them.

And I had a test at school, so I would have been able to get out of it anyway.

I got a letter the other day confirming that (amongst other things) I am a jury duty candidate.

About 8 of my friends have done it in the past 2 years so I'm hoping they ask me soon. This all sounds so lame...

Jury duty is far from fun. I sat there from 8am-5pm, in a room of about 400 complaining people. I was dismissed because I look about 13 years old.

The same day I got home on leave from my USAF technical training, I got a letter saying I've been selected for jury duty. Fucking BS, I was pissed. And of course I got selected to be on 4 different juries.
