I had some pretty legit Mexican food for the past couple days. I mean it was served from a truck. A taco truck. If you don't know what I'm talking about then you don't know Mexican food. Oh yeah and I had to order in Spanish.

Did you know that taco truck economy in LA is so big that LA wants to require permit/ban them?

Same here in MD.

I think they were banned in the neighboring county.

It's been a while since I had tacos de carne de reys from one Mexican taco truck nearby, but they were pretty good.

However, the majority of Latin Americans in the DC area are Salvadorean, so most of our Latin American restaurants and food trucks are actually Salvadorean. Lots of places with good pupusas.
