lmao
so true
depends on the managers who are in charge
I got a lot of food that wasn't served to customers for whatever reason
it's gross
you get unlimited free pop too, but that's not something you should indulge in
but you should expect that employees rarely throw out expired food
it's not hard to tell when you're biting into old food
an indirect way to get fresh fries is to ask for no salt, because they get salted as soon as they're done frying
an indirect way to get them to make your sandwich on the spot instead of serving you one that's already been made is to ask for no pickles or no lettuce, depending on the sandwich (why not extra pickles? think about it)
you have to pay for extra cheese, extra patties, and extra sauce
I'm not sure about extra anything else
the only burger choice for vegetarians is fish
The 'no salt' thing works. I knew a guy who was allergic to salt (probably not literally but I think he had some sort of heart defect so he had to be really careful).
Going to McDonalds with him was a drag because you'd have to wait at least 20 minutes for them to do new fries
McDonalds is one of those places where you deal with nutjobs on a daily basis. I remember one woman, around 40 or so, would come in twice a week every week and buy 8 of our largest cups filled with vanilla ice cream because her mom was like 80 and wouldn't eat anything else. She always argued that we should charge her for 8 vanilla shakes instead of like 30 ice cream cones because ice creams and shakes are exactly the same, which they're not. I've also made food for most any kind of pet you can imagine, among many other interesting stories. But I will never ever work there again, it's a shit job, the food is disgusting and the pay blows.
no, such a person can probably be the guy that cleans up little kids' vomit or prepares the food (because i mean none of customers actually gets to see everything that goes on back there).
but getting a job in the restaurant where they actually interact with people is probably a bridge too far.
In my experience, the people working in the grill area are usually smarter than the people working the counter. Having worked both, I can honestly say that I would rather work in a 100+degree grill area than deal with you folks ordering at the front counter. People are douchebags to minimum wagers.
The minimum wage here is 9.50...
It's ridiculous how quickly it's gone up, about two years ago it was like 7.50
orthodox aren't catholics...
and anglican catholics are anglicans that have adopted a lot of the practices of the roman catholic church. a lot of them even recognize the authority of the pope, but they think that the anglican church is just another branch of the "universal" church.
I remember once when I was young. My mom ordered for us. She ordered the fries without the salt. She said because regular fries have so much sodium and it was bad for our health. Well we had to wait longer than usual but our fries were hot. I think my mom stopped doing that because she didn't want to wait around as long anymore. They have way less taste without the salt. If I ordered fries without salt I would want to salt them later.
Yeah, I mean I prefer the fresh burgers to old burgers. But I mean asking how long the burgers have been sitting out well I never actually asked. As for asking for no pickles or no lettuce that could work too. It is less embarassing than asking for fresh food. I just like getting the same or more food for the money. But the tradeoff of a little less condiment and fresher food doesn't seem like that bad a deal. So thanks.
min. wage here just turned 7.25
2 years ago it was fuckin 5.25 so.. ya.. south sucks
