It's funny, but this country has taken that right away from me until november 1st. If I didn't move, I could vote, but I can only do an absentee ballot and those aren't even counted 99% of the time.

I hate it when a celebrity supports a candidate. It makes me want to vote for the other guy because I already know the celebrity is horrible at making good decisions.

You'd be surprised. Maybe some of them are dumb and just get by on their looks and skills or w/e but some actually have an education. For example; Matt Damon attended Harvard and was going to graduate but left for acting. Not all celebrities are idiots. I just think you have bottled up anger towards them because you can't be rich and famous like them. It's ok .

#1: Yes, all celebrities are idiots, because they are self-absorbed and sheepish (in the easily manipulated way, not the shy way)
#2: Just because you are smart does not mean you understand economics or politics. Intellect is a diverse thing.

Agreed. I don't understand how people can blindly follow someone, famous icon or not. I kinda see this a lot in my home town, but instead of celebs it's church leaders (never mind the whole separation of church and state thing). A local church leader will say "We like conservatism" which most of the people will hear as "Vote Republican, that's what God wants!" and totally ignore everything else.

HOW CAN PEOPLE DO THAT?! Drives me nuts.

So like ya, my film career clearly qualifies me as an expert on international politics. Although to be fair, there are some shitty places in the world and I don't think it hurts when people try to use their status to highlight these places that any monkey could identify as needing a bit of help. They just aren't in a position to provide viable solutions. Well some might, but not the ones you here on the TV.

Okay, I actually decided to watch the video and really enjoyed it. I have no problem with them encouraging people to vote, but it was pretty obvious who they were telling people to support.

In the end though, I like Leo and most, if not all, the actors in the video. That's just me though.
