I've driven through like 15 but I would also say I've legitimately visited about 15. I honestly don't care for much domestic travel unless it deals with the opposite coast.

I mean really, do I need to whip out the stats for how many people regret their tats? Those of you who want lost tattoos actually make me ill, and anything you write on yourself (regardless of language) is going to look pretentious and shit in a few years time.
I was thinking about getting something on my hand or wrist.
i can understand that. most of the states i've visited were the backwards states, but i've spent most of my time in the enlightened and economically-productive states.
i couldn't shake the creepiness i felt much of the time i was in mississippi, and it was only intensified when we went to jefferson davis's house. on the other hand, the jacksonville museum had a very impressive exhibition of paintings from the spanish royal collection at the time (goya, domenico tintoretto, etc.)
I've got a lot of tattoos. On my police record is says "Number of tattoos and distinguishing marks: Unknown".
The fiery red Torino rolled to the curb, we hit the pavement ready for action.
I have a good bit of tattoos and a few piercings. It's been a couple years since my last tattoo so I'm looking for a local artist who is good enough for my tastes.
Its quite an American pastime to attempt to sum up an entire country and culture in a pithy comment or an ill advised tattoo. Hemingway was the worst for this but atleast he lived in the countries he wrote about.
That seems like an extremely BRITISH thing to do... see Rudyard Kipling.
Also, TOGS said he wanted to get a tattoo as a memory of that place. He didn't claim that the tattoo would adequately sum up that country completely. But never miss an opportunity to put down the ugly, ignorant Americans, right?
I'll take back what I said about TOGS up until ill advised, appologies. I will stand by my original statement that Americans are worse for cultural simplification. Thats not to say that Brits aren't guilty of this too.
Well I was thinking this, but I don't think its the same thing to say a particular attitude is more prone in some nationalities than others with plausible reasons than to present a nation's culture and history in one flippant throwaway phrase. If I'm wrong then I've been pretty stupid, perhaps I'm was in a bad mood this morning and felt like making a pithy generalisation.
faggots jesus
sorry. this is what happens when you get a gay together with brit.
and not one of those ale-swilling working class type brits either, but rather one of the theater-type, pinky-out, "i may not have gone to public school to have sex with men but i certainly act like i have" brits.
There are a number of other reasons I went to public school.
Like 'to not have sex with women'.
Yup.
well I used to think that getting a tattoo was a bad idea but then I grew up and now i have plans for a Spider-Man symbol on my chest
