I'm totally confused, but I'm really appreciative of your answer. I'm planning on using this power source. My friend wants a more expensive one.

Its an apartment garage. So its a long block of just garages. The house is too far away.

That thing wont last long at all.

You will need a gas generator. Something in the 800-1200W area. And dont be surprised when you find out they cost like $900.

It would be cheaper to wire the garage. Get extension cords.
