Default ITT You reccomend me a new tea to drink

I drink a healthy amount of tea, and as such i'm looking to expand my horizons. I looked around for a place on this forum that I would get better answers posting in, and with the exception of PS (which i don't think this really qualifies for) I couldn't find anything.

So I pose the question to you, CD, what teas are worth drinking?

I've been drinking Tazo's Organic Apple Red tea at work recently and they're pretty tasty, I will probably try some of their others flavors when I'm done with this box. It does kind of leave a dryness in my mouth afterwards though which I find kind of odd.

Ironically enough, Sweet Tea is the only tea a man can drink without being a sissy.

    Animosi-tea.

Plenty of teas are worth drinking. Do you prefer loose or bagged? Bitter or sweet? Herbal or fruit? Personally, I like Rooibos. Tazo's Passion is pretty amazing. I have some mild teas that are like Orange/Jasmine and those are good if you want a light flavor to add to your water. Trader Joes had a White Pomegranate tea that a lot of people really love and I, too, thought it was good.

Chai has such a different meaning abroad than it does in the US.... "Tea" being the literal translation for Chai.

There is most likely some sort of tea shop or stand around where you live. This is the best place to get tea.

Edit: More specific to your question, these are the best places to get unique teas found nowhere else other than that store. Dreamtea is my favorite from my local herb shop, it's delicious.

you might want to try rooibos or honeybush if you haven't yet. they're from the bark of bushes that grow in southern africa. honeybush is sweeter and a bit mellower, and rooibos is a bit stronger.

I'm the one that recommended Rooibos to him in the first place.

But Vanilla and Rooibos don't seem like normal combinations.

speaking of earl grey, i effing hate Twinings.

the best bergamot-flavored tea i've purchased was an iranian brand. it was made with ceyelonese tea, which as everyone knows is the best tea in the world. those skinny exploited brown laborers sure know how to grow tea.
