For the first year-or-so of CD, I had a leased license from vBulletin. $90 a year or something like that. When my time was up, I purchased an "owned" license. which meant I only had to drop like $40 a year or something for updates.

Recently they decided that they're going to release vBulletin 4.0, but no matter what license you have, it's going to expire and you have to pay like $200 to get 4.0.

Fuck them in their stupid asses.

My license doesn't expire until June, so I'm good on updates until then. But I'm seriously considering moving to invisionboard.

Also I may need to take up a collection for it, because I'm broke as shit.
