Thread: Does this really work?

There is only one song that I have recorded so far. The others had so many errors that I want to rerecord them. The song I recorded is the best one, in my opinion so if it were to be perceived bad by people other than me, than I really think there isn't need to put all my songs up.
But guys, tell you the truth, I don't see myself becoming really famous. And plus I really don't know who would ever want to listen to my music. Even for me, it sounds a bit mumbled and quiet at times. I just really wanted to make it for myself to listen to, mostly, and if I got fans well that would be so sweet.
So anyways I want to see, maybe I could get the background music and mix it with the lyrics then the song would be done.
Also, I was just talking to someone about if I could get a background music and they said that there was a free program that you could download? So maybe I could try that instead.
Also, I think the songs say what I want to say but some songs don't flow good. I think it is because I don't have enough rhymes. I could try and correct it by using a rhyming dictionary. But I don't know if it will give the same meaning I want to get across.

Shortened version: I don't know if my music is good enough to sell. Being realistic, chances are it isn't in my favour. But it is good enough for me. I like it.

But maybe youtube isn't the answer. Because if I think it is good, but it isn't, I don't want to look like a fool, become a laughing stock, made fun of.
Maybe when I'm done my music I could put it on myspace or on my webpage.
That way I or others can listen to it.
At least that way only people who would want to listen to it would. Even if it was just me.
