Is there a way to do this? before you start flaming me with "Stop being a faggot trying to run away" I've already gotten permission from my parents to visit my girlfriend who is volunteering in kenya.

Surely. I used to do it pretty often. Most airlines have people that make sure you get there ok and stuff, but if you're older than 12 you can pretty well handle it by yourself.

You're going to get AIDS lol
Hey, what NGO does she work with? What is she doing there? I am assuming a water project, but nice.
Understand that what you're going to need a Passport first and foremost. Chances may be, depending on the community she works in, you might have to have a chartered flight from the closest airport. Be sure to get vaccinated. If you know how to navigate an airport, then you should be fine.
Are you aware of how incredibly expensive a flight to Africa costs?
Your just scared she's gone black and wont go back aren't you?
I would be cautious of visiting a country infested with AIDS..
Uh...you guys do know how HIV is transmitted, don't you? Unless he's planning to have sex or share needles with the indiginous people, or his girlfriend has been, he should be OK.
True but his girlfriend has likely gone black, and therefore, will probably not go back.

I'm pretty sure he meant ebola, not AIDS. So hah. But that's not funny... ebola and AIDS are both horrible diseases with huge human and economic tolls.
But anyways, dur of course you can fly by yourself when not 18. The question is if you have any clue what you're doing or how much a plane ticket to Kenya costs. Get your vaccinations, don't drink the local water (maybe bring a portable water filtration system), etc.
And for Zeus's sake, if you contract anything like TB or ebola, just die where you are pls kthnx.
Um... it is infested with AIDS, and blacks.
Corrected
I gave that look to the nurse too when I was in the hospital after my wreck and she told me it was time for some nasty tasting breathing treatment. And I give that look to to all the doctors with all my follow up visits when they ask me if i'm alright.
There shouldn't be any problem. I did it several times before I was 18.
In other news I hear there are some sexy babes in Kenya.
Just curious, when do you plan on going? It could probably determine price better, but you're looking at ~$6000 for a round trip fare. But, I guess, once you're there you've got quite the advantage over the Kenyan Shilling.
My boyfriend just got back from Djibouti and yeah... Africa isn't fun. It is really dangerous and you have to get loads of vaccinations to be safe.
I don't know anything about Kenya so maybe it will be different from Djibouti but Djibouti sucks ass according to my boyfriend. There are also loads of possible AIDS infested hookers in Djibouti and there really isn't anything else. Its a boring country.
Oh, I just realized.. She's probably working for Darfur refugees on the Kenyan Sudanese border.
Fucking single-serving volunteers.
Just kidding, all volunteering is good volunteering. Too bad it takes women like Angelina Jolie to make people get up and do it.
Also how would your boyfriend know so much abouth the African hookers?
Cungratz
I see what you did there also.

How did that work out for you?
You had a favorable time I presume?
