I too will flush coqauvin though I'm not 100% that he's mafia. It's clear that he's our best choice, as we can always lynch sneed on the next day.
I was PMed shortly after the day began and another player revealed that he (grammatical function you overanalytical fags) was the nurse and that I was the target. Since I suspect that coq is lying, I will not publicly reveal the other player. Obviously, this makes me a target tonight, so if the real nurse (who remains hidden) would protect me, I'd appreciate it.
you could also be lying your teeth out in hopes of the real nurse revealing his/her identity to call your bullshit, but if he did then he's a sitting duck and our chances of winning the game get significantly lower. but since it's actually kind of a bold, and somewhat unnecesary move (seeing how at this point almost noone suspects you) the tradeoff isn't good. although distrusting everyone seems like the general rule to playing this game, this makes me think you're a townsperson.Originally Posted by Atmoscheer

I realized that theres a good chance you're innocent, and if you're not then your fellow mafia member might've just voted for you just to save themselves from possible suspicion.
Possibly it wasn't even a fuckup and you're indeed the nurse, but did that because you realized there was definetly a chance of being lynched and wanted to turn some votes around, afterall you're far more useful being alive (you could still save yourself) than by being dead.

We're not fucking stupid. Just because one mafia is down doesn't mean you can't fix the votes and secure a win for the other mafia members (a similar strategy was considered with mutton and sycld in the last game but became unneccessary)

I received this PM from kt at the end of the day. I also know the identity of the nurse/doctor/purifier. In order to safeguard this in the event Coq was the nurse and the nurse who PM'd me was mafia, I also PM'd the identity of the nurse to two people.
As such, I can rule out 5 people from suspicion (including myself.) Even if the mafia have slowplayed killing the nurse, we've narrowed down the options considerably.

If you believe them, the mafia get 1 townie lynched for free and protect the last mafia from suspicion for at least another 2 rounds. If you disbelieve them, they get 1 mafia protected for a while, while you run around lynching everyone else (say, for 2 rounds or so). The problem is, you'll never know unless you lynch both the named ones or the Sheriff has identified which is which, which isn't possible now.
