Brit (11): You are a Brit living in the Casualmouth Borough of Discourshire-under-Cwm. You want to eliminate the Shits to maintain the borough status of your district.

Shit (3): You are a pile of shit masquerading as a Brit, and you plan to take over this borough. You have already taken over other boroughs because they smell similar and fail to detect you. Each night, you get to swarm one Brit in his sleep to put him in a shit-induced coma.

Smeller (1): You are a Brit unique to Casualmouth with the special ability to sneak up to a player's canopy bed and smell out his role each night.

[edited to add] Purifier (1): You are a Brit with the ability to visit one player each night to purify him in case he gets covered in shit. You prevent night kills, not day lynches. You are allowed to purify yourself.

On each day, vote to flush another player down the loo by bolding their name in your post. The player who receives the most votes dies and his identity is revealed; a majority vote is not required. If there is a tie, I will flip a tanner to decide who gets flushed.

Do not post at night.
PMs between all parties are allowed during the day. Only Shits can PM each other at night.
Dead players cannot post or PM.
Non-players cannot post ITT.

Day 1 begins now and ends on Sunday, August 15 at 11 PM BST.
A deadline means we don't have to wait for inactive players, and better allows for vote changing strategies.

I'm going to throw this out there... MrShrike clearly doesn't understand the point of lynching, but since mutton doesn't require a majority vote, I don't think he would necessarily be a liability. Other than being misguided, he actually seems to understand the game decently well.

Rules question: What if we have a majority vote before Sunday? Does the final vote end the day?

I think it's generally better to wait:
- There may be a late argument against lynching, for example "I am the Smeller, he is a Brit."
- The player being lynched may have important info to reveal, for example Think's final accusations in the first game barely made it. This would probably be in a different tone than if we allowed a final message when they have already died.
- This situation shouldn't come up often to drag the game. If we go 13-1 against Absolution then we apply common sense and move on to night.

If you guys want to change any rule, such as add a healer, I will do it.

Well you all know what I think - any flushing at this point favours the shits, but obviously we've got no choice. Until and unless we actually have some information from this round that points to a people colluding, I abstain.

Even someone as obviously guilty as sycld is just as likely to be innocent and just double-bluffing - in which case flushing him won't help, it'll just bring the shits 1 step closer to winning.
Unless he really is guilty and is actually triple-bluffing. TL;DR - divide by zero.

Atmosfear, I couldn't help but notice that yesterday before the game began you were eager to tell me what a huge idiot I am who has no idea what I'm talking about, but then very first thing you do once the game starts is tell everyone what an excellent understanding of the game I have.

MrShrike just because you are wrong doesn't mean you aren't valuable. Someone who knows the rules and tries to understand the multiple angles of the game, even if misguided, is more valuable than someone who isn't active or is only mildly interested in playing effectively to a successful outcome.

I'd rather lynch a Shit but since it's a random vote day, might as well kill the disinterested.

I just don't see why you would double-bluff unprovoked whatsoever. A townie (uh, Brit) masquerading as a mafia (uh, Shit) doesn't benefit anyone at all, unless mutton is lying about the number of roles he has included (Village Idiot, etc)

That's rather a silly rule. PM's between all parties should be allowed during any phase, excluding as always the dead of course.
