i don't care who started it, i will finish it
i don't care who started it, i will finish it
sponge and Rick Scarf are town imo
starting a new bandwagon
delete welladjusted for making her mind too fast
welladjusted is a chick i think
nope this is her
Casual Discourse - View Single Post - [Official] Post a recent picture of yourself thread
cute but nonethless DELETE HER
plus us bros gotta stick together ya know
wait sponge earlier in this thread you even mentioned welladjusted being a woman did you forget
either way lets rid the women outta here
no I just said the avatar was male and didn't say anything about welladjusted's sex and then you brought it up somewhat randomly
although truth be told it wouldn't have been the first time I forgot I pretty much only remember three women on the internet kt (who will be easily forgotten but because she is a whore) solecistic (nudes) and gina (famous internette)
I don't really have anything against welladjusted (besides that she's a woman) I guess I don't have room to remember more than three internettes in my head
but yes allowing women on the porn computer will only lead to shouting and domestic violence
well if were gonna delete a women it should be WA because we know she is one and kt has a boy haircut and boy boobs so we might not actually know the truth
Hi guys, here's a votecount:
(Listed in order of most votes to fewest. Players who voted for listed in italics, in alphabetical order.)

It could take a long while for any lynching to happen...
Man, WellAdjusted does look like a Canadian jew. I wouldn't ignore her if a buddy needed a wingman for her cute friend though.
Mafia games with an even number of players heavily favour the mafia. A vote for a 'no-lynch' gives the town an extra day phase in which to talk and vote amongst themselves.
outed myself
i stated again the number of votes for a lynch. this is outing myself. how? what's your reasoning on this?
explanation: mutton is focusing the first bandwagon and rushing into a lynch on day 1 with shittier reasoning than my high school essays
I am not Jewish
you're not thinking clearly, we buy the extra day by wasting this one; you've got to think about what we can learn from votes, banter and lynches today and what we can learn from night kills (answer: little from one alone; we need the combination). Pursuing a nolynch this early in the day takes us into a likely random nightkill and leaves us in the same position tomorrow (albeit with the repayment of a day); we need to lynch or at least threaten to lynch today to maximise the amount of knowledge we as a town can use on subsequent days. We can use the nolynch extra day clause later when we have the information (e.g. there are two distinct voting factions) and need a nightkill to contextualise it (e.g. see who dies). At the moment, it would be a waste.
Your thinking goes astray because you're considering days as a town commodity independent of town information, something that is unfortunately encouraged by those days to town win stats you've been reading; we are not randomised voters, so the game doesn't work like that; with non random votes days are like empty vessels to be filled with content; they offer potential but not (non-random vote) quantifiable chances of success. Waste today and tomorrow becomes another empty vessel.
it is an interesting thought that mafia would repeat pieces of town-relevant information to emphasise their being town; most often this is nonsense reasoning, and in this case, where a mafia would be equally interested, it's especially ridiculous. I hope mutton was being whimsical.
mutton hasn't voted for you yet. I'm afraid you are coming off very defensive and your reasoning has been poor and a potential mafia crutch.
for now, at least, /delete coq

i was obviously referring to your error in game 2, which is the same type of action (failure to read) that you have displayed here, and that is why people have voted against you
it is weak evidence, but weak is still good for day 1
the analogy doesn't hold with simonj because he didn't do anything to be mafia 3 of 4 times
Yes, yes, I know. The nolynch is best saved for the mislynch-and-lose. i just figured i should mention it. don't forget we also have investigative night actions that will see a benefit from a no lynch, if the town chooses to do so earlier than later.
I guess I do come off that way. I'm not trying to.
That's not just random lynch stats. It's also information from dedicated mafia forums from people who play this game quite a bit and were interested in the statistics of it. Regardless of the random-lynch factor, the even/odd number of players has a distinct effect on the town and how it must vote because it directly affects the number of days available to play. If we have an odd-number of town players, then never is the best time to no-lynch. When there is an even amount, the no-lynch must be considered, although not on day 1. I've already said that before, albeit not in this thread.
Are you guys serious? You're calling me mafia for restating the amounts of votes to lynch. I... I can't believe that this is being used as the basis of the argument against me. Does anyone else recognize how stupid this is?
No, mutton hasn't, but he has argued against me more than anyone else. On what? For restating the amounts of votes to lynch.
uh, what? My error in game 2 was getting drunk and spilling information that wasn't public that I assumed was.Originally Posted by mutton
you guys are making a claim about my metagame. That:
a) I mistakenly revealed mafia-only information in Game 2 because of a failure to read. (not the sole factor in that scenario, but let's ignore that for this argument)
b) I comment on the number of votes, because of a failure to read.
Well if he was mafia in a), therefore, he must be mafia in b).
a) a man with a dog in his car drinks and drives, then crashes into another car.
b) a man drives to the grocery store with a dog in his car.
do you see where i'm going with this?
i think it has something to do with an atmosfear image macro, correlation and causation
If you want to get rid of long boring posts then delete think. It's not like his logic has ever worked in a mafia game, ever.
ok I think I took a hyperbolised interpretation of coq's posts in an effort to rationalise this bandwagon, which is batshit crazy if its aim was ever anything other than the application of pressure /unlynch coqauvin, /lynch mutton
ok I am going to apply a three step model of intentionality to this post with zero sum game assumptions to determine on a -1 to 1 scale what your chances of being X are where is X is a non-town role; I will then isolate your place on a Y continuum where Y1 are either town non-roles or non-town-aligned roles; your place on XY will give a probabilistic estimate of your being virus; if I can reasonably combine to an answer of at or over .69 recurring and metaestimate town benefits to kill using vote interaction at 45 on the duckling-fatheringay interval inventory I am going to lynch you
then we'll see whose logic doesn't work
Ok, we need to consolidate our votes. In the first voting stage it doesn't really matter who we vote to delete. Yes, deleting a Virus is infinitely better than deleting an Uncorrupted Process, but we won't learn anything until we actually delete someone.
Right now I'm voting for Coq only because I like to see him squirm, but really there's no way to tell who's Virus and who's Uncorrupted right now.
