well. they were

the internet revolves around Satori
True, but to say that one can suck one's cock is different, whereas this was more overtly code-on-code rape...
Oh, I didn't mean susceptible to Google searching. I tried that to make sure, and indeed the QT didn't come up, just this thread. It's just that the imagery was a little too sycld-esque.
This is a dead horse, but on what grounds? there was no real case against me (which is true of any mafia-on-town argument). It's only if the town acts suspiciously that they get lynched, but all I did was talk about a no-lynch that we didn't end up needing thanks to doc save.
Because we had won by that point providing the 4 of us lynched the same person. You and sycld were the most suspicious. Sycld was way more suspicious though so we lynched him.
The thing that really killed me was the, "Lol wuts quicktopic?" post, right?
Yeah, like I said, I got cocky. Also, I actually could see myself asking what something is after it's been mentioned 4 or 5 times in a thread already and then just looking it up myself.
Was there anything else though that made me suspicious? I remember midway through the game there was a Woofness post in which he said that both KT and VS were "most suspicious," where as my name was with the "least suspicious" people, and that was nice
The town benefitted greatly that 1. mutton found his nurse on Day 1 and 2. no one mutton investigated was nightkilled.
another stupid question
- you drew a flawed analogy between you and simonj, and failed to admit that we had reason to be suspicious about "7 to lynch?"
- on 2 occasions, you were opposed to what i said, but then agreed with me very suddenly
- you repeatedly suggested that i out myself when there was no clear benefit to it
- you discredited sponge when he tried to interpret the mafia's actions, calling it "completely fucking worthless to even talk about"
- on the last day, you failed to consider that the sheriff could have investigated players who got night killed
Hah, yeah I suppose that would've been a valid reason for suspicion. I was counting on you taking that more as an expression of annoyance because you complained that I didn't motivate my vote against cockle's van. I mean, unless I'm mistaken, you didn't motivate your vote against KT very well.
Absolutely. But even without a cop, the game probably would have proceeded in much the same way that it did up to the last night phase, unless I'm missing some of mutton's machinations which prevented someone whom he knew to be innocent from being deleted.
What I'm saying is that ultimately the mafia fucked up, and it would have most likely been just a matter of time until I was lynched by the town. Without a nurse, there'd have been 5 voter discourses left and 1 code-probing mafiabyte virus. Town stood an 83% chance of winning, even if they just lynched random people every night.
What mutton did do was precipitate this chance for a win and prevent me from standing that 17% chance to win. And even still, my cocky "What's Quicktopic?" question would have done me in anyway.
just curiosity. cops determine alignment, not role. I wanted to know whether Atmosfear told you his role or if you just started communicating.
Because you did not have reason to be suspicious about "7 to lynch?". Correlation does not imply causation.
I didn't start agreeing with you until I read through the thread that last time and got a clearer picture of how the game played through. You're right that the sudden switch was fishy, though.
There was, though. We didn't need it on Day 2 because KT. succumbed to coqitis, but if that hadn't occured, playing 'follow the cop' is still a valid strategy.
Because he was arguing from the wrong perspective. He's making vast assumptions about how people he doesn't know (identities of the mafia) are going to play, then proceeding as though what he's assuming is true. On top of this, he wasn't interested in determining what my alignment would be, he assumed he knew what it was, then formed dead-end arguments meant to box in the target. I guess it works in debate club?
I was looking at a best case scenario. Had you investigated nightkilled players (of which there were only 2), we still had an incredible head start. There was also a backup plan for the worst case (assuming competent mafia) which would have worked even better.
Look, having cleared, public town figures makes a huge difference on the gameplay and limits the list of people who could be mafia. I interpreted your actions as suspicious from Day 1, mostly about the vetting of players and making possible scum lists. When I read through again knowing that KT. was scum, instead of assuming she was and considering the opposite to be true, things were a lot more obvious. If you found me so suspect, why didn't you investigate me?
With an argument like the one between me and sponge going on, I figured I was a ripe candidate for investigation and then getting cleared.
coqauvin didn't read the thread
The games over guys
You were going to be investigated. However the day before we could it looked like you were going to be lynched. Then I just read the thread you know, and decided that you looked innocent so swung the vote off you and onto KT at the same time suggested to mutton that there would be better people to check on.
Oh yeah, and the public dick sucking was an attempt to get you to play in a manner that would stop people bangwaggoning against you. I'm afraid it was a piss-take not a colloquialism.
