Right now I'd estimate that sponge and WA are leading candidates, as sponge is defending WA and then agreeing with our implications, and still has a (random) vote registered on me. Why wouldn't he lobby against her (or someone he believes is mafia)? He certainly did it loudly and adamantly in the past.

Regardless, welladjusted needs to be prioritised first by force of logic (unless I'm really missing something) but I shan't be voting for her yet; day 1 needs to take a little longer than this

Even if WellAdjusted is innocent, Sponge could still be mafia. (Mafia sometimes defends a townie so that later when it's revealed that the person is town, the mafia person looks pro-town.) I find Sponge somewhat suspicious but not enough to vote to burn him yet.

He defended you in a round about way. He dismissed your scumtells as being pure stupidity. More often than not though scumtells are indicative of the Mafia, not a retarded Townie. That's why they're called scumtells and not retardtells.
Pointing out sponge wasn't sticking up for her is either a really dumb mafia tell that sponge is mafia (what I like to call "The MrShrike") or a fairly clever mafia move to get us to lynch an innocent sponge (which people are already leaning towards).

With the last vote, WellAdjusted is escorted to the ol' burning pole. Somewhere between here and there, she starts ranting about how you've all got the wrong person and she isn't a zombie. Somewhere between there and somethere else, she collapses to the ground, foaming at the mouth. The town jumps back with torches flickering over frightened faces in the twilight. When WellAdjusted rises again, you realize the glow in her eyes isn't something that normal people do. A couple of quick thinkers manage to get some rope around her and after some finagling, tied to the stake.
WellAdjusted, Zombie Goon burns brightly in the night, lighting the way for the glorious future of the little town of whatever the fuck I called this place in the first couple posts.

I defended her as just being dumb because I read her "blah blah blah sycld and karl" post as mindless drivel and I thought reading much of anything out of it would result in a free lynching of a townie for the mafia. Obviously that method of reading has much to be desired because frankly I still don't know how I'd be 100% that welladjusted is mafia in any given game because so much of what she says seems like random conjecture.
I don't understand how stalling would've changed anything since zombies can't do their night actions till after a vote by the town and the day ends, as inconsequential as that may be.
Anyway I fucked up but I have no real evidence in my defense. I did vote to burn WA and wasn't that last to do so if that means anything.
On top of sycld's point, the rules require a post per player per 24 hours.
The game is about judging the way players target eachother and in turn judging the target's reaction to pressure. If you target someone and lynch him before he has a chance to respond, the only thing you gain is the knowledge of his role. If you let him respond, a town player will give information to the town that is instantly credible upon the revelation of his role.
Oh sponge posted before I did.
Consider his response and then weigh-in as to whether he should die.
I'd like to hear who he is suspicious of before we kill him, so i'm going to /unburn sponge until he does.
