Hanging out with an ex?
How do you guys feel about hanging out with an ex? My ex from like 6 years ago came back to town a few days ago, and we have hung out the past few days. We dated for quite a while. Longest Ive ever dated anyone. It ended kinda bad, but IDK, I still have fun hanging out with her.
And before anyone asks, I havent PIITB (since she came back to town).

She's leaving in like 2-3 months. And she lives is Dallas. Like 6 hours away.
2-3 months is either a long time to have a winter fling, or a the right amount of time to mess shit up and make things awkward. How good is your relationship?
If it were me, and she was one of my (crazy, insane, unstable, insert mental disorder here) ex girlfriends who was staying in town for 3 months I might hang out with her for a month or two and keep things casual but still interesting if you know what I mean, and have the last month be a total fuck fest. Then it's not like you are too attached from having a sexual relationship for three months and when she leaves you can go about your life not knowing or caring about what she is doing.
in before she realizes how good you two are getting on and decides to stay longer than 2-3 months and you're left with a situation.

I honestly wouldnt have a problem with that. I had lunch with her again today, and there are still plenty of things I still like about her, and I havent seen any signs of the stuff I didnt like yet.

I assumed when you asked this question that you had a new girlfriend to consider... if not, then what's the question? There's nothing to mess up because you had no relationship. Who cares?
She was always bitching at me to be more responsible, go back to school, etc. Now I have my own place, two vehicles, work a steady job, and am in school. So I guess I kinda ended up how she wanted.
If you don't have a new girlfriend then I see no harm. Mind you I see no harm even if you do have a girlfriend. Go for it, see what happens. Keep in mind that you got all of those things without her.
