Thread: Do you remember LWS?

since I found LWS in ... ugh.. 2005?

I started working as a freelance sysadmin (because of TGO)

I helped build THE KILLER APP OF THE INTERNET and ironically still maintain it (also because of TGO)

I got a couple large forums to hire me as their sysadmin (once again, with TGO's assistance)

Due to my massive increase in both income, and girth I:

Bought a new house that's literally 3 times the size of the old one.
Spent tens of thousands of dollars on toys (TVs, computers, consoles, HTPC parts, etc.)

Other events that happened:

A lot of my pets died

I got a lot of new pets!

I met a lot of new internet friends and we hang out a few times a year.

Oh, and I had a hand in making LWS go out with a huge bang instead of a slow, drawn out whimper.

Also, I started CD, so it can continue LWS's slide into obscurity.

In all seriousness, this has probably been asked before, did that crazy guy that everybody hated REALLY spend heaps of money buying LWS and then canned it immediately?
