Cool Hobo dreams of a lawnmower gets a shotgun - Hobo with a Shotgun

Hoboius w/ Shotgunnicus - Seen here in its common habitat a graffiti riddled dirty alley way facing off against one its enemies, the Bad Guy's Son, who is ensnared by the Hobo with a pole attached to his cock and a tape diaper. In the other hand is the Hobo's multiple purpose home, vehicle, and occasional bathroom - the shopping cart. Unseen (leg sticking out of shopping cart) in the partially decapitated hooker with a heart of a gold, Molly Dunsworth.

    HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN

There isn't really much for me to say except that if you enjoy sleazy B movies, like cheap gore and violence, hilarious dialogue, or Rutger Hauer (Blade Runner), then you might like this movie. Dreamed up for a contest by Robert Rodriguez as a spoof trailer, the trailer won first place and was eventually made into a movie and released earlier this year. Folks who remember Tarrantino's and Rodriguez double feature Grindhouse flicks may remember a similar story that stars Machete, the machete swinging Federales.

What I like about this movie was that it didn't take itself seriously, but it was taken with a heart of gold and professionally done. In the opening scene, the intro music performed by Oblivion Orchestra, brings a faint reminder to early Eastwood spaghetti western's such as the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly theme trilogy. Except instead of Angel Eyes with his recognizable poncho and battered brown hat we have the Hobo with a winter parka and black ski cap. From the moment Hobo looks over the bay to see the town going up in smoke and seeing Welcome to Hopetown sign crossed out, I already had a very good idea of where this was going. Hobo goes from, well, hobo to savior, and along the way he makes friends and enemies of all sorts of unbelievable people.

I definitely recommend this already made cult-classic movie.

    Check out the stats:

I did some deep diving into google on this. Machine Gun Preacher has nothing to do with Hobo With a Shotgun. MGP is directed by Marc Foster (directed Monster's Ball, Stranger than Fiction, Quantum of Solace), and is starring Gerard Butler(starring in 300, Law Abiding Citizen) as Sam Childers and Michelle Monaghan(starring in Eagle Eye) as his wife.

Delving into the background of Sam Childers shows that he was an ex-gang member for the notorious biker gang Hell's Angels. He ends up going to east Africa to help child victims from the atrocities and corruption of the Ugandan and Sudanese governments and the horrors of forced conscription and sexual enslavement by the Lord's Resistance Army whom is at war with the governments.

Sam Childers has his own website where you can read some shockingly real first-person accounts suffered by children who have been saved by his foundation. You can also donate or purchase merchandise where profits are donated to his foundation.

And there is a documentary film and biopic novel of the same name called Another Man's War.

    Photos of the man himself:

I'm unable to watch the trailer, so could somebody describe to me and give an opinion? Thanks.

Also, as a note to zombie/survival horror fans, Marc Forster is also directing World War Z. I love zombie movies, I loved World War Z and other books by Max Brooks, and I'm really impressed by this guy so I've got high hopes.
