Craig's bond is less seduction, more raw and brutal, along the lines of Sean Connery's Bond years ago.

Bond will change based on what the viewing people want. Fighting and boxing were coming up during the first bonds with Connery, hence the brutality you saw there. Today MMA is making it big, violence is all around us, and we crave it as consumers, so Bond has once again changed to please the audience.

Bond seeking revenge and/or closure for the death of Vesper in Casino Royale. The threat in the film is also named "Quantum."

No it isn't.

I was wasted and saw the midnight showing last night but what I remember of it:

The action was great, the plot did a good job of tying up the Casino Royale story without being an overt sequel; at no time did I get the sense that the plot of this movie was taking backburner to closing up the last. The Bond girls are both hot, and the movie isn't snore-worthy.

If you liked Casino Royale, you'll enjoy this. If you didn't like the character's lack of subtlety in Casino Royale, don't expect much to change in this one.
