Since I spend the majority of my 8 hour work shift doing nothing, I went out and got then entire Dresden Files series. It's been 12 days and I've read them all. Damn good series and the characters don't get stale like in most series longer then a trilogy. Highly recommend it.
Just read a couple of Bill Bryson books because I spent some time on buses recently.

Just picked up The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, a thick book of politically incorrect X rated jokes for long days out on the sea, and a study of chess by Bobby Fischer. I picked up the Girl book hearing that the movie was awesome, and its on my hard drive waiting to be watched. The spaghetti monster was recommended. Flipping through it really confirmed the need to have this book.
I have just got And the Ass Saw The Angel from bookdepository.com, under recommendation from a friend, and I hope I like it.
I'm reading The Book Thief. It's my friend's favourite book and she sent it me for my birthday. It's possibly a little too stylistic but so far I like it.
"if on a winter's night a traveller" by calvino interspersed with short stories by angela carter (I got "burning your boats" for christmas)
they're actually a really good combination
'm reedin lord of the rings again, yeah.
I wouldn't go so far as to say that I'm reading it, but Chaos by James Gleick is my next in line.
I'm reading your mums diary
whilst banging her
I'm reading the chemistry in the air and the braille of her nipples
im reading in to that too much
I've read a shitload lately, but I'm reading Packing for Mars by Mary Roach and I am absolutely fucking loving it.
Amazing read so far. Very interesting stuff.
I remember reading that years ago. As I recall, it's not a bad introduction to Chaos at all (and that's high praise coming from me about a popularization of physics and math).
As stated elsewhere, the last novel I read was Closer by Dennis Cooper.
...

Because of the mental scarring, I'm staying away from novels for a very short while and currently finishing some more books in the Best American Series for 2010.
snipe
reading It by Stephen King
it's (lol) fucking massive but very good so far
That was my favourite movie as a child. My sister used to call me Georgie haha
It was also really fun to say "It" when people asked what your favourite movie was. Also when asking for "It" at the movie store.
If you don't read the fucking book I talked about, I'll kill this kitten.
The movie is the least scary thing I have ever seen in my life.
well that's disappointing, I was kind of looking forward to it
I had tricked myself into thinking it wasn't going to be a total shitfest
I bet Carrie's crap too
No, Carrie is one of the few Stephen King adaptations that's downright amazing.
good
i'm glad about that
What?
Oh good. You have taste. I thought you meant my statement.
nah brah
i'm kind of cautious about watching Carrie now, I mean It was that bad
Well you don't have to worry, Carrie is still regarded as one of the greatest horror movies ever made.
