I saw this the other night not really knowing anything about it, other than Daniel Craig and it wasn't Hotel for Dogs. I was very surprised and thought it was a great movie.

The film feels very much like Glory for Jews, but there is more of a focus on the interpersonal relationships and hardships not directly related to combat. A lot of critics claimed the film gave in to action cliches and bad dialogue, but I would say that it honored some war movie tropes and did a fine job.

If you've already seen Gran Torino, this is the next movie you need to see in the theater. Skip Slumdog Millionaire and all the garbage Oscar baiters.
