I wish they'd brought Ekho and Juliet back. Juliet might not been able to do it since she's doing that show V. But Ekho was the shit.
i liked eko, but his arc ended for me and i'm fine with it
V, however, is incredibly shit. and elizabeth mitchell is not quite suitable to carry her own series. she was so extraordinary as juliet and now she's flat and sub-par as what's-her-name FBI agent mom.

oh, good.
I never watched Flashforward, and then I watched this past episode and not only did it make a shocking amount of sense, but it was really good.
flash forward can be okay, but it's never been really good. V, on the other hand, is utter rubbish.
flashforward has few plot holes left, and the finale hasnt even aired yet. Theres no story to continue, not suprised they cancelled it.

It'd be kinda cool if Jack helped blow up the island. That way the island can still blow up, and it wont just be utter failure on his part.
Many also speculate that it's Jack ex-wife?

that would probably make me a little uncomfortable but i guess there's something vaguely fitting about it
Who was the woman who met Jack at the airport couple of seasons ago, when the six of them left the island?
Disappointment doesn't excite me.
my sister-in-law is in town to spend the night at our place, so I have a feeling I will either have to download it, or possibly watch it live while constantly telling her and my wife to shut up
scratch that, I'm downloading it later... getting drunk either way though so it's all good
Haha. What a wonderful phrase.
ONE MORE HOUR
Well it's about to be terrible.
fucking jack doesn't make me want to kill myself it is the first time since ever
Mang, don't read this:
STILL NO REASON THEY DIDN'T NAME THE MAN IN BLACK.
Well.... That was pretty weak. :-/
I could have came up with atleast 2 or 3 better endings. Anyone else guna watch the alternate endings? I just knew for sure the UNNAMED man in black was going to come back. And where was my boy eko?

That's not exactly true.
But yeah it looks like Michael and Walt signed a contract (with ABC studios, duh) to go to Hell and Ben is going to stay in purgatory.
I watched this show for 6 years and the writers took a shit on my face for my dedication. What was the point of the whole island?? What was there to protect? Whats the deal with the light it turns one person into a smoke monster and causes Desmond and jack slight discomfort? The ending blowed and explained nothing of the island. I wasn't even convienced the UNNAMED man in black was all evil, and what was the point of avoiding to name him? The whole finale was mushy and slow music. Weak.
I thought it was an incredible ending that, while explaining nothing about the island, made the show about the characters again, made me like the characters again, and I really enjoyed it and the rest of you can suck my cock and go to hell.
I agree with you there, Mal, but for all the reasons SolidSnake mentioned, it'd be a better finale if the rest of the final season had shed any light on the fundamental questions.
The purpose of the island was so the people involved with the island could reunite in the afterlife? If that isn't circular bullshit, I don't know what is. That's a great explanation for the flash-sideways, but that wasn't a fundamental mystery of the show. It was a mystery created this season. As far as I'm concerned, they sacrificed 3.5 seasons to focus on the island, only to blow the last episode by going back to the characters they should've been focusing on the entire fucking time.
jk guys I called this 6 seasons ago when I saw Cloverfield before I started watching Lost: the island is a stupid fucking macguffin because JJ Abrams is a two-bit hack
