i've never really watched anything whedon, but last week I watched dr horrible's singalong blog and enjoyed it enough to warrant watching more, but it may have been more neil patrick harris that prompted that enjoyment than whedon's writing.
well look i suggest downloading firefly instead
with buffy, the first season is not that special so you may get bored but the second season gets amazing

it is absolutely.
it is also unchangeable -- there's no going back in time and fixing things for this show. but, joss has said that things may not be exactly as they appear, and the details may not be spot on (we are relying on people's memories, after all). basically to allow the writers some elbow room when it comes to storytelling later on. but fundamentally, this is where the show is going... and moreover, we haven't seen the last of felicia day. she will be returning, this season.
