Castle

Not much to say about this one other than I recommend it for anyone looking for a good time but nothing much more. The writing's not special, nor are the stories, but you'll have as good a time watching Nathan Fillion as he is playing the title character.

For those who want to know, the show is about hot shot crime fiction writer Richard Castle pairing up with a hard-nosed hottie detective whose name I've forgotten, as he helps her solve crimes -- not for justice, but so he can "find his story".

It's on Monday nights in the States, I don't know what network or time.

Like I said, there's nothing that great about it other than Fillion himself. I mean, it's alright, but Nathan makes it a really fun watch.

Yeah, if it weren't for him in the lead, the show wouldn't really be worth watching. As it is, it's not terrible, it's not great. It just... is.

saw the first episode but nowhere near as good as my fave. that hottie detective is detective kate beckett played by stana katic

The second episode was better than the first, story-wise, and Det. Beckett got more to do, but it didn't have the flair of the first episode. I predict this show will eventually strike a balance and be actually pretty watchable.

It's nothing I'd beat myself up for missing, but it's something I think I'll really like and will appeal to a lot of people.

ABC's Castle has had a pretty decent start. However, how much of that is due to being in the slot right behind Dancing with the Stars? Given the viewer erosion the show goes through in its second half-hour, lots. Another thing Castle has going against it--ABC is chock full of options just waiting for a spot on the schedule. On the other hand, the show isn't bad and hasn't lost as much of its audience as one would expect.
