And whilst I am a big fan of Simon Pegg, his scottish accent needs work.
I can tell you this much. When people do applaud at the end of a movie, it makes me feel even more ridiculous for paying out of my ass for some popcorn and to see a pre-recorded show that I could watch at home for a fraction of the price.

When I went to see Ironman the night it opened last year at midnight, I went really really high, and at the end of the movie everyone around me started clapping. I was really confused so I turned to my buddy sitting next to me and practically yelled "Why the fuck are we clapping?" I hadn't meant to say it so loud, but all the people who were clapping stopped and stared at me for a second, then left. My friends almost fell out of their chairs laughing.
So fuck moviegoing clappers, and because of the great success of that one time, I will now make it my goal to make them feel stupid as shit for clapping after movies every chance I get.
