I would much rather be an asshole than applaud after a movie. What the fuck is the point of applauding at a movie? The actors don't hear you. I'm sorry, but movies are entertainment. If Star Trek moved you enough to clap at the end of it, you might need to reevaluate your life. gwahir, you need to quit being so self righteous and get off your high horse. You aren't better than me because you get a stiffy every time someone in a movie claps, and you just sound stupid.
