I thought Sam Huntington was a perfect fit for the oddball character. I'm not sold on Witwer's character, mostly because the whole moral/inner struggle vampire angle is kinda old. Still this is a show that I have high hopes for, even if I'm expecting to fail miserably.
How popular was the UK version? Do you think this one will squeeze out a few seasons?

I watched the first episode and it was like Twilight meets The OC. I never really got into the UK version past the 4th episode though. I've been meaning to catch up on it (I have a friend who works on the show) but I have other things to watch.

I watched all of the sopranos for the first time recently (awesome) and just started watching battlestar galactica through again. I never finished it the first time and forgot where I got up to, so just started at the beginning.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Ted's children of the future must be bored to tears by the longest love story ever. I'm guessing that there's going to be only one more season.
They keep thowing in these "Oh this is the love of his life, this is probably his wife guys" and then future him meets people and he says "Oh no she isnt my wife."
Do you think he told the story of how he met the kids mother within the story of how he met their mother?

I've been fairly obsessed with Justified lately. The first season was good, and the second is doing a good job so far.
Also, I cannot say enough good things about Charlie Sheen.
The mother is dead by the time he turns into Bob Saget. That'll be the twist.
Also the whole Charlie Sheen thing was annoying until he stepped up his game and started being outlandish for the sake of being outlandish. #tigerblood
