On the whole, I'm very anti-fantasy (in the sense of dragons, wizards, elves) in literature but I can tolerate it on screen. If it can get into political espionage and real-world based concepts/problems then I will enjoy it. Like the plight of a minority underclass of species, etc.

good fantasy has both, you know
It's an odd suspension of disbelief I can give to sci-fi but I can't provide to fantasy. I think it's a stubborn bias.
