Has anyone seen it?
Someone linked me to the opening titles (because they know I love blues/soul/jazz etc and have an affinity for N'awlins) and I loved it. I watched the first episode, and loved the flavour and music, but the story didn't quite yank me in like I wanted. Should I stick to it?
Note: I probably will watch the rest, regardless of what I'm told. But I do want to know your thoughts, and whether I should be excited for what's to come.
Heard an interview with one of the actors on NPR, very depressing show from what I understand.

Identity
A certain Scottish novellist told me to watch it about a year ago. I watched the first episode and didn't watch anymore. I quite liked it though so I might download a few more and catch up a little bit to see if it does grab me.

I watched most of the first season until I did away with HBO. In fact, I still had an unwatched episode on my DVR until last week that was recorded on 23 May of last year. It is a decent show but I haven't seen any of season two yet.
I've seen it all up to the second episode of the new series.
I really enjoy the music which isn't exactly to everyone's taste so that helps a lot. I'd definitely stick with it, I think it's great. Some of the cast members are fantastic
