Selected normal difficulty

Starts with a bar room brawl, then cuts back to Drake's childhood. Visually beautiful (the Columbia environment especially.) The new melee system is gonna be ok, I think... Little clunky at first but I've heard it useful so I'm excited. Little slow to get my free climbing feel back but I'm getting the hang of it.

Story has a good hook so far... Ive heard this is a much more unpredictable plot and focuses a lot of drake and sully's relationship. Seeds are sewn early, and I'm into it.

Man the French forest was amazingly well rendered... That whole chapter was gorgeous and well-paced.

Jerkfest 2011 is on hold until Friday due to me having to fly to new york.

My copy came in yesterday, got it for free from subway's game. Letting my friend borrow it first though because I've got too many games to play. My brother beat it in ~ 10 hours and he enjoyed it but said there was less replayability than in the previous games

Flying home now so the jerk sessions will resume shortly.

I've really liked the melee so far because you basically instakill from cover. It makes stealthing much more practical than I remember Uncharted 2.
