As long as they aren't on the same servers as PC players I'll be fine with it. A gamepad could sever skill from players for a game that was designed for KB&M.

I'm SURE they'll find a way to adequately adapt the control scheme to a gamepad.
There aren't going to be more than 10 skill buttons one would use at any one time, but yeah I don't know how either inventory management or weapons switching will work.
But isn't it great that for ONCE a new game is going to be designed for KB&M in mind FIRST, and gamepads as a secondary thought???
Another thing, however, that this makes me wonder is about how this game is going to be adapted to run off of 5 to 7 year old hardware of current gen consoles. Maybe this means that it'll run on old legacy PCs, but hopefully without compromising on graphics for newer systems. I've heard that the game is gorgeous, and that ArenaNet's intentions are to try as best as they can to exploit new hardware while allowing it to function on old hardware.
