I watched an interview on Machinima's youtube and I'm not too excited about the campaign. It sounds similar to Mass Effect 3, but to a higher degree. Choices matter, and mission success/fail matter. What you do affects the story line, and if you fail a mission, then that's just the way it is. Maybe it makes the game shorter since you don't have to repeat the same parts over again, but I think he said it's not very linear either. You can choose specific choices in combat, and also choose what missions to do. Doing a certain mission means the other missions aren't available to you. Feels pretty choice heavy, they're also adding overwatch mode? Where you can basically do it from a tactical 2D point of view, but you can also switch between that and 1st person mode (on any of the squad mates). But I think they're also just keeping the traditional CoD gameplay for those who want it. I think I'd rather just stick with the normal mode.

I watched the multiplayer interview too but they didn't have too many details. With it being in the year 2025, I doubt there's gonna be ballistic knives, crossbows, and tomahawks =(. I just went to my friends house last night and picked up Black Ops from him and played a bit. I had some fun but only around 200K players on PSN, I totally forgot I could dolphin dive, and it feels a little slower paced than MW3, which isn't too bad, I just need to adjust.
